April 20, 2006: Official Says Iranian Youth Welcome Culture of Martyrdom To Defend Achievements

Kazeroun, Fars prov, April 20, IRNA -- Secretary of the Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei said here Thursday that advancement in the peaceful use of nuclear technology would lead to a stunning breakthrough in the agricultural and medical sectors.

"The US along with a number of western countries have imposed scientific sanction against us and are determined to halt our development in the field of peaceful nuclear energy," he said.

During the invasion of Iraqi troops on Iran, the Iranian youths formed public resistance groups to deal with the enemies aggression, he said.

"Iranian youths welcome the culture of martyrdom to defend the achievements of the Islamic Revolution," he said.
